Shipping Policy

At Simprolos, we are committed to providing clear and transparent shipping information before you place your order. This Shipping Policy explains where your order ships from, how long production and delivery may take, shipping costs, tracking updates, customs duties, and what happens if a package is delayed, damaged, or lost.

1. Where Your Order Ships From

Simprolos uses a dual-fulfillment model. Depending on the product, stock status, size, and destination, your order may ship from one of the following locations.

U.S. Warehouse — In-Stock Items

Some best-selling items may be stocked in our U.S. warehouse or with our U.S. fulfillment partner.

Ship-from location: Sheridan, Wyoming, United States
Typical products: Selected in-stock items
Typical carriers: UPS, FedEx, USPS, or other local carriers

China Production Facility — Made-to-Order Items

Most Simprolos designer lighting fixtures are made to order at our production facility in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China.

Ship-from location: Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, China
Typical products: Chandeliers, pendant lights, wall lights, custom lighting, oversized fixtures, and designer made-to-order lighting

Each product page will indicate the estimated processing, production, and delivery timeline where applicable.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs depend on the destination, product size, weight, shipping method, and warehouse location.

Free Standard Shipping

Free standard shipping is currently available for eligible orders shipped to:

  • United States, 48 contiguous states
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • United Kingdom
  • France
  • Germany
  • Hong Kong SAR
  • Macao SAR
  • Taiwan

Free standard shipping availability may vary by product, order size, destination, and shipping method. The final shipping options and charges will always be shown at checkout before payment.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping may be available for eligible products and destinations. Expedited shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on product size, weight, destination, and carrier availability.

Other Destinations

For destinations not listed under free standard shipping, shipping fees are calculated at checkout. If your country or region is not available at checkout, please contact us at info@simprolos.com before placing your order.

3. Order Cut-Off Time and Business Days

Our order cut-off time is:

5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday

Orders placed after the cut-off time, on weekends, or on public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. public holidays and applicable Chinese public holidays that affect production or export operations.

4. Processing, Production, and Delivery Times

Delivery time includes two parts:

  1. Processing / production time — the time needed to prepare, produce, inspect, and pack your order.
  2. Transit time — the time from carrier pickup or dispatch to final delivery.

Estimated timelines are listed below.

Some complex, oversized, handmade, or customized products may require additional production time. If a product has a longer lead time, this will be shown on the product page or confirmed by our support team before shipment.

5. Estimated Delivery Times by Destination

The following estimates are general delivery windows. Actual delivery times may vary depending on product availability, production status, customs clearance, local carrier performance, weather, peak seasons, and other factors outside our control.

If you need a product by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order. We will help confirm the most realistic shipping option.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships or becomes trackable, we will send a tracking number to the email address used at checkout.

Tracking availability depends on the shipping method:

  • U.S. in-stock orders: tracking is usually issued within 1–3 business days after the order is placed.
  • Made-to-order expedited air shipments: tracking is usually issued when the order is dispatched from our facility.
  • Made-to-order standard sea freight shipments: tracking may become available only after the shipment clears the destination port and enters the local delivery network. This may be approximately 3–4 weeks after order placement.

After tracking is issued, please allow up to 48 hours for the carrier’s system to update.

7. Split Shipments

If your order includes multiple items, they may ship separately due to stock location, package size, product type, or safety requirements for fragile lighting fixtures.

If your order ships in multiple packages, each package may have a separate tracking number. You will not be charged an additional standard shipping fee for split shipments.

8. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees

Customs duties, taxes, and import fees vary by destination country, shipping method, and local regulations.

United States — Standard Shipping

For standard shipping to the United States, Simprolos covers applicable U.S. customs duties and import taxes where included in the shipping arrangement. The price shown at checkout is the final amount charged by Simprolos for your order.

United States — Expedited Air Shipping

For expedited air shipping via DHL, FedEx, or another express carrier, customs duties, import taxes, or carrier brokerage fees may be assessed by the carrier or customs authority. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.

International Orders Outside the United States

For international orders outside the United States, local VAT, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or government charges may apply depending on your country’s import rules. These charges are not controlled by Simprolos and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

If you are unsure whether duties or taxes may apply to your order, please contact us before placing your order. We will do our best to provide a clear estimate based on the product and destination.

9. Pre-Orders and Backorders

If a product is available for pre-order or backorder, this will be stated on the product page along with the estimated shipping or production timeline.

You may cancel a pre-order or backorder for a full refund at any time before the item enters production or ships, unless it is a custom-made product that has already entered production.

10. Holiday and Peak Season Delays

Our production facility in China observes Chinese public holidays, including Chinese New Year, which usually falls between late January and mid-February. During these periods, production and shipping may be delayed by approximately 1–3 weeks.

Major shopping and holiday seasons, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, and New Year, may also cause delays due to high carrier volume.

When we are aware of a material delay affecting your order, we will notify you by email.

11. Address Changes and Order Changes

Please review your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

You may request an address change or order change within 24 hours of purchase by emailing info@simprolos.com. We will do our best to help.

Once an order has entered production, been packed, or been handed to the carrier, changes may no longer be possible or may require additional fees.

Simprolos is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

12. Failed Delivery, Refused Delivery, and Unclaimed Packages

If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal of delivery, unpaid customs duties, or failure to collect the package from the carrier, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Re-shipping costs
  • Carrier handling fees
  • Customs charges
  • Any applicable restocking or recovery costs

These costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.

13. Damaged Items During Shipping

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@simprolos.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos or videos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the outer packaging
  • Photos of the shipping label
  • A brief description of the issue

After verification, we will provide an appropriate resolution at our cost. This may include replacement parts, a replacement item, a repair solution, or another resolution depending on the situation.

Please keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved, as the carrier may require it for inspection.

14. Lost Packages

If your tracking shows that the package was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery scan.

We may ask you to check with household members, neighbors, building management, mailrooms, local delivery points, or the carrier before a formal investigation is opened.

If the carrier confirms the package was lost or misdelivered, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.

15. Delivery Delays

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless a specific guaranteed service is expressly stated at checkout.

Delivery may be delayed by:

  • Customs clearance
  • Carrier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Peak season volume
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
  • Oversized or fragile freight handling
  • Production delays for handmade or custom items

We will notify you if we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order.

16. Product Size and Oversized Shipping

Some lighting fixtures are oversized, heavy, fragile, or require special packaging. These products may require additional handling time or special carrier arrangements.

Oversized products may ship by sea freight, freight forwarder, or special carrier service depending on the destination and product size.

If a product requires special shipping arrangements, we will provide the relevant details before shipment.
