Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods accepted by Simprolos, how payments are processed, when customers are charged, how pricing, taxes, duties, refunds, and payment disputes are handled, and how we protect payment information.

By placing an order on simprolos.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Simprolos accepts the following payment methods where available:

Available payment methods may vary depending on your country, device, browser, payment provider, card issuer, and checkout eligibility.

The final available payment options will be displayed at checkout before you complete your order.

If a payment method is shown as unavailable at checkout, please use another available payment method or contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider for assistance.

2. Secure Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout and authorized third-party payment providers.

Simprolos does not store or have access to your full credit card number, CVV code, or complete payment credentials.

Payment information is encrypted and processed through secure payment systems that follow applicable payment security standards, including PCI DSS requirements.

For your safety, please do not send credit card numbers, CVV codes, passwords, or other sensitive payment information to us by email, WhatsApp, live chat, or social media message.

3. When You Are Charged

Payment is authorized and captured at the time your order is placed.

After your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email at the email address provided during checkout.

For made-to-order, custom, oversized, or internationally fulfilled lighting products, payment is collected when the order is placed so that production, material preparation, quality inspection, packaging, and shipping arrangements can begin.

Placing an order does not guarantee fulfillment if payment authorization fails, is declined, reversed, flagged for fraud review, or otherwise cannot be completed.

4. Pricing and Currency

Prices on simprolos.com are displayed in United States Dollars (USD) unless another currency is clearly shown through our market, country, or currency selector.

The price shown on the product page should match the price shown in your cart and checkout, excluding any valid discounts, shipping fees, taxes, duties, or other charges that are clearly shown before payment.

For international customers, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply currency conversion rates, foreign transaction fees, or other charges. These fees are charged by your financial institution and are not controlled by Simprolos.

5. Taxes, Duties, and Government Charges

Sales tax, VAT, GST, duties, customs fees, import charges, brokerage fees, or other government-required charges may apply depending on your shipping destination, billing address, product type, and local laws.

Where applicable, taxes or charges collected by Simprolos will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.

For international orders, customs duties, VAT, GST, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local government charges may be assessed by your destination country or carrier. Unless these fees are clearly included at checkout, they are the responsibility of the customer.

Simprolos cannot control or guarantee the amount of taxes, duties, or government charges imposed by local authorities.

6. No Hidden Mandatory Fees

We aim to show all product prices, shipping charges, taxes, and applicable fees clearly before you complete payment.

You will have the opportunity to review your order total before submitting payment.

7. Discount Codes and Promotions

Discount codes, promotional offers, and special pricing must be applied before checkout is completed.

Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.

Discounts cannot usually be applied retroactively after an order has been placed.

Promotions may be changed, suspended, or ended at any time, but this will not affect orders that have already been successfully placed and confirmed.

8. Failed, Declined, or Pending Payments

If your payment is declined, fails, or remains pending, your order may not be processed until payment is successfully completed.

Common reasons for failed or declined payments include:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Bank or card issuer restrictions
  • Payment provider security checks
  • Billing address mismatch
  • Browser, device, or network issues
  • International transaction restrictions

If your payment fails, please try another payment method or contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Simprolos is not responsible for order delays caused by failed, declined, pending, reversed, or incomplete payments.

9. Fraud Prevention and Payment Verification

To protect customers and prevent unauthorized transactions, some orders may be reviewed for fraud prevention or payment verification.

We may contact you to confirm certain information, such as:

  • Shipping information
  • Contact information
  • Proof of authorization for the payment method

If we cannot complete verification, or if an order appears fraudulent, unauthorized, or high-risk, we may delay, cancel, or refund the order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that we reasonably believe may involve fraud, unauthorized payment, payment abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.

10. Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact us at info@simprolos.com within 24 hours of placing the order.

If the order has not entered production, packaging, or shipment, we will do our best to help.

Once an order has entered production, been customized, packed, shipped, or handed to a carrier, cancellation may no longer be possible or may be subject to applicable production, handling, or shipping costs.

11. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refunds are processed according to our Return & Refund Policy, Warranty Policy, or other applicable customer service resolution.

After a refund is issued by Simprolos, your bank, card issuer, PayPal, or payment provider may take additional time to post the funds to your account.

Typical refund posting times may range from 3–10 business days, depending on your financial institution or payment provider.

Simprolos is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, PayPal, or other payment providers after a refund has been issued.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a billing error, delivery issue, product issue, duplicate charge, or unauthorized transaction, please contact us first at info@simprolos.com.

We will review your case and work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under your card network, bank, PayPal, or payment provider’s dispute process.

However, opening a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution because the payment provider may require additional time to investigate.

Simprolos reserves the right to respond to improper, fraudulent, or abusive chargebacks by submitting supporting documentation, including order records, shipping records, delivery confirmation, customer communication, and proof of agreement to our policies.

13. Invoices and Receipts

An electronic order confirmation and receipt will be sent to the email address provided at checkout after successful payment.

If you need a copy of your receipt or invoice, please contact us at info@simprolos.com and include your order number.

Customers are responsible for keeping copies of order confirmations, invoices, and payment records for their own reference.

14. Payment Method Availability

Payment method availability may change from time to time due to Shopify settings, payment provider availability, country restrictions, technical limitations, risk reviews, or local regulations.

If a payment method is listed on our website but is not available at checkout, the checkout page will be considered the most accurate and current source of available payment options.
